Been going with Denis now this Feb will be our 7th year. Always look after us. Just don't let him take you for the shovel ride. Ask him about that. They are great people and the air show is well worth the trip. If he puts her down the ride is great also. Regular huts are good the super huts are well worth the extra dollars.
Fishing has been hit and miss last year we where in there in Jan 7th and hit the walleye morning and evening runs all 3 days. biggest was 5lbs 11 pic 1 herring and tons of perch(dinks) but lots of them. Year before we hit them afternoon run only. All large fish(3) 26 plus inches only a few keepers. Had 3 that wouldn't come up the 10" hole with gill plates flared. Have had years where there was nothing also, But we keep going back.
It works for us and the service is great. Wet a line, and hook up a few fish, good friends and a few drinks, hockey and an air show. PRICELESS!!
Have a great weekend. Be there the weekend after you so leave a few for us.
And no I am not related to Denis. Will be looking at his spring fly ins when we are there in Feb also.

Denis is a bush piolet and if he can he puts on an air show usually Saturday afternoon.
And he can make it dance for sure. Never seen a beaver do a loop de loop. If he is out at night flash the outside light on the hut and he will fly just over the hut and rattle the pots and pans.
If he has his road plowed he lands and if you want to go for a ride off you go.
Now the shovel you just have to imagine a old steel coal shovel tied to the handle a rope tied to the back of a ford 4x4 truck. and just go from there down the road you go.
Not for the weak of heart or the old and foolish which I am neither.
But always a good time with Denis you never know what he is up to.

Hey Civic Girl,
We will be up the same weekend as you. We have a group of 6 guys headed up. How about yourself? We tried for the superhut but it was booked already. We'll be there around 8am on Friday, and this will be first time to the ice bungalows and second time to Nip.
