It has knocked the snow down alot, this will help get rid of all the slush. It's going to -15 tonight, so that will tighten everything back up.

Anyone know the approximate ice thickness on the South Shore?

As Jeff said, it would only help Trix.

I am guessing it's pushing well past 15 inches by now

27" if you count the 12" of slush on top that is slowly draining and freezing.

Thanks everyone. My friend is the one driving up, and he is worried about having to drive his truck on the ice as he has never done it before......but apprently he doesnt have to as there is a service between the huts and shore provided.....we thought we had to drive out on a plowed ice road.
