I usually only fish Simcoe two or three times during the open water season, targeting bass and lake trout.
During the hardwater months I am out 3-5 times a week going for whiteys and lakers 😄🐋🐋

I would think this poll could do a rank in order type thing....

i mainly target lakers and go for Pike then Bass in Cook Bay.

It depends on the weather and if i have someone with me.
If I have a guest, they always want to get a Lake Trout.

Ya, these polls confuse me.

I thought you had to choose on e species. Now I see folks picking 2 or more.

I alos never did get the end purpose of them, but go along with it anyhow

Interesting results.

Here's a dumb question: are there no walleye/pickerel in Lake Simcoe? I could have sworn I saw lots of them in narrows between Couch' and Simcoe a few years ago during Perch Festival.

There are some Walleye caught in Simcoe; usually incidental single catches, sometimes quite large.

Same goes for Couchiching. If you get an 'eye in either lake, it's usually a wall hanger not an eater. Saw a couple this spring in the narrows. They were big, pushing 30" each.
