This was a second trip to Nipissing this season. We were ready for slower action in February, so day one proved it. Out on the ice at 7:30,trucks are everythere on the lake and o, man was the lake ever loud! Ice was making noise all over the place. No action till 1 pm except for some perch, then my partner lost huge fish on half way jigging with swedish pimple and minnow. Shortly after he managed to iced nice walleye and my rod started to work, so we finished Saturday with a load of perch and 4 nice walleyes (2 of them had to go back in hole because of the size).Sunday was completely different, action was nonstop in the early morning and almost died by afternoon, but 26” gold beauty and couple smaller ones was a nice culmination of the trip. Wind really picked up at around 2, so we packed and left. Had a good time here some pics good luck to everyone who's going
