Calm morning on k-bay

Felt like a bit of shore fishing, so headed up to barrie with son and fished off the marina. Netted some minnows for bait first. Fished for 2-3 hours and caught a bunch of perch. Most were small, biggest were only 9-10". Son also caught a small smallie, rockbass and a gobie so he got the coveted 4 species award.

Was a bit cold out (wet hands didnt help), and there was a brief flurry, but overall a gorgeous morning and one of those odd days where it was actually windier first thing and went to glass calm as the morning went on.

No pictures with todays report as my phone slipped out of my pocket while i was trapping minnows and is now sleeping with the fishies

Too bad about the phone. When around water I'm always keeping my ohone in pocket with closure - velcro or button. So worried about loosing . . .

It was in a zippered pocket for tha same reason. Unfortunately zippers only keep things in when you close them
