Hey guy's - New-bie to Cook's bay area.

What's your go to set-up and method for Walleye fishing in late October and November.

Is the Walleye fishing even any good in this lake?

Pic's of rig set-up would be great along with how your method.

All the walleye posts from simcoe over the last 20 years say no point in targeting walleye in simcoe, unless you are a walleye wisperer of sorts.

Perhaps that's because some have mastered the art of when and where.

They are in Simcoe but in numbers, who knows.
Cook's Bay I have no experience with - if your going to attempt to fish for them start by reading where the exit points out of Simcoe are for them during the spring spawn, cause they use them on their return. The return becomes a good starting point.

ps: If we get some decent weather over the next couple weeks, I will target them.
Little Rippers off planer boards/bottom bouncers pulling cranks not worms have worked for me.
Speed - I have found anything over 2mph is a waste - slower is key.
Depth - less than 30 feet now.........

Good Luck!
