I was catching them last week down at the Barrie Marina. They are there for sure! Caught a few nice jumbos right by the spirit catcher. good luck!

Thanks for the info. My kids will enjoy it. I am not sure where the spirit catch is. Were you using minnows, worms or plastic?

By the spiritcatcher has been good. Yesterday morning filled the bucket some jumbos too. Worm and a bobber & that's it! GL.

That's good news. I'll be taking the wife tomorrow morning then since I'm off work. Maybe I'll teach her to fillet them if we get a bucket full and I get lazy lol

I was out for an hour and half this AM just to the west of the Spiritcatcher and didn't even have a bite. There were about 20 people there and I only saw 2 fish caught in that time frame. Some guys were targeting smallies, but I am not sure if they are there this time of year. Most o fthe people were using minnows with no success so I went and dug up some worms and grubs and yup they didn't work either. There were quite a few people in boats and on the shore out in front of the marina, but I couldn't see how well anyone was doing there from where I was.

Good luck!

Was out for 1.5 hours, not even a goby. No one else was catching anything either.

We fished that area on Sunday and had good luck. Fished the same area on Monday, the bite had slowed down a lot. Maybe they moved out?
