Our family ran a Bed & Breakfast out of Windermere for many years and it was closed down about 9 yrs ago .....I was just wondering if there were any fisherpersons that have been looking to fish/snowmobile in Windermere/Lake Rosseau area but haven't due to having to drive to Bracebridge or Huntsville for accommodations?
We have a fully contained unit that has 2 bedrooms with Queen beds, a small fully equipped kitchen and living room and private bath that I'm considering opening up for the ice fishing season. I'm just wondering if anyone would be interested before moving forward ....If you have questions please ask myself or for that matter ask Backwoodsmanbob as he is fully aware of the location. We are not interested in providing breakfast so you would have to bring your own food.
The snowmobile trails are accessible by travelling across Lake Rosseau or trailering a few kms to Three Mile Lake.
At this point I'm just putting out feelers to see if there would be any interest at all and then make a decision from there.

Thanks for your responses. Of course at this point there is no ice or snow. Please let me know if this is still of interest to you and I will make my final decision as to move forward or not.
Rates would be 60.00 a night single to a max of 150.00 for up to 4 persons. Please remember the unit only has 2 beds so after 2 people you are sharing.
All bedding will be supplied. Full use of unit Free wireless internet access and satellite TV. Separate entrance Building is non-smoking but there is a huge veranda with table and chairs setup for that purpose.

Hey guys, Sudsy noted that it is only accommodations which I can say will meet anyone's expectations. There is a "no pet" rule in the house. It is about 1 km. to the water and can easily be accessed by atv or snow machine depending on the amount of snow on the side of the road. Fishing starts from about 100 yards to as far as you want to travel again depending on ice and safety. We fish about 100 yards out.
Further info from Dave or you can call me 416-453-2966

That is not bad at all. I have been up the Windermere a few times and besides the ice fishing it is beautiful areas. Any reason why just for ice fishing season? Is it occupied during cottage season? I would be extremely interested during boating season and would love to drop the boat in that lake one day.
