Iceicebaby if you drove 6 hours north of barrie and found no ice ?
must have taken the wrong road lol. Just by saying that you went Sudbury way and ya there is no ice that way. cuz i bet ya a tank of fuel i could put you on fish and ice in that distance . I know cuz my moms texting all the time saying some guy is fishing where you was lol .and saw some guys going fishing Only cuz she knows im stuck on simcoe

Ya we drove sudbury way but not straight 6hr north took backroads lots of sidetracking. Found 1to2in ice at most spud threw in 1or2 whacks. Fished culverts and shore at few stops only small perch and 1 pike. Heading east today.

Ya you still need to be north head into verne head north across to field 64 to 11 north. Keep heading north you should start finding ice check out some lakes off 672 lots of lakes in the area and yes people are ice fishing there.

Don't know . Don't know why anyone would keep a fish that big. I said to my mom it will taste like garbage that big. She replied back saying she wanets a walleye lol. It was not the guys i know .
Probably some local in the area kept it for his wall. Ethier way its a big fish and should of stayed in the lake . I know they have big fish in the area and big pike. There are a bunch of photos on wall of the bait shop of pike pushing close to the 30 pound mark. I know i want to catch one of them massive fish when i return to the area. But i would let it go after all the measurements i would need for a wall mount.
