I guess the header pretty much sums up what I'm asking about here. I just got ice equipment for Christmas and have the rods spooled with Fireline Ice. I read several positive reviews on here but I'm wondering about the best terminal knot. Would it be the Palomar as with regular braid? Not sure if I can get a double line through some of the tiny jig eyes. Thanks in advance

I use the palomar on my fireline if tying to jig or swivel. If tying direct to flouro leader I use a triple surgeons knot. I am very happy with fireline performance. Little memory, doesn't hold water and freeze and is very strong.

I'm a pretty big fan of the double davy knot when i'm out steelhead fishing as of late. I'm going to try that out this year and see how it does with the lakers.
