Glad you had a great time. They are great people for sure. Thanks for the report. Any pictures? Did Denis do an air show? or see if you wanted to go for a fry pan ride?

Leaving Friday with a group of 6 hard core fishermen, Will have to see how we do.

What where the walleye liking most spoons, jigs, minnows? From reading the board look like everyone has said to go lite or go home. Just wondering what you had the most luck on.

Understand if you don't want to reply to the questions.

Glad you had a good 1st time with Denis.

Play safe and Lady Simcoe has lost of Ice for the perch out of Sutton Pefferlaw Beaverton. I was out last friday 28 fow 8/10" black Ice.

The wind picked up on Sat so didnt get to see the air show.. And i asked about the frying pan ride got to see the pan before Dennis told Billy to put it away lmao..
we seemed to catch all the walleye and perch on the speader a few on the top hook all with minnows.. my hubby caught a herring on a half and half small williams on sat that was a nice catch.. but found having the williams or a tube down seemed to attract them and bring them in to bite the minnows, the bite was real lite they just played but always seemed to get the minnow lol smart little bugers..
hope this helps and good luck we you head up hope the fish are biteing harder for ya..
tight lines

Thanks Civicgirl for the update on the bite. To bad about the air show, And the fry pan ride. Denis is usually the one looking for victims to take for a ride not Billy. Next year will be the shovel. He must rotate from one to the other. Will take your advice and keep some type of flasher moving to see if they will do the same. Might have to use a hook and a elastic to keep one bouncing. will keep a couple of spreaders going also.

Glad you had a good time and got some fish. I will report back with pictures when I get back on Sunday.

Good to hear you had a good time there........and that the bite is till on.

I find those fish real finicky with weather changes....like anytime it gets colder and sunny, they shut down quicker ...but hey, when you are there, you can't control the weather.

Looks like the whole reaminder of this "winter" is going to be above norm temps so 3 weeks to go.
