Trophy Trout Group: Members Posts: 749 Member No.: 8547 Joined: January 21, 2015	Hey guys, I don't know a lot about catfish and I've never caught them deeper than 30 feet but this past summer I was fishing for perch and wasn't getting on them so I kept moving deeper and got out to 55 feet and I caught about a 2.5 pound catfish. What is the deepest you guys have caught catfish on lake simcoe? Interested to know.

Fry Group: Members Posts: 28 Member No.: 7372 Joined: October 21, 2014	i no my son caught 2 of them last year in about 25 to 30 feet of water,weve fished in deeper water but never caught or seen one in it.
