Well since it was Valentine's Day yesterday and my girlfriends been asking me to take her out fishing I decided this was a perfect opportunity lol.
Got to VB around 6:30am and started getting ready. The temperature gauge on my dash read -30!! Man it was cold. My Sportsman 500 had a tough time getting started. Good thing I had it on the battery tender overnight or we would have been walking
We managed to catch over 50+ jumbos but only kept 20 for a nice fish fry.
Not much snow cover on the ice it was like a skating rink out there. If anyone is walking out bring your cleats!
Lots of people driving vehicles on the ice too...personally I think it was a little too early for that...the ice was making some of the craziest noises I've ever heard.

Oh ya...I ended up buyin a new Salus one piece float suit and this thing is like an oven. I definitely recommend their products if anyone is in the market for a new float suit.
