Feb 14 Beaverton, A Great Day!

Egg Group: Newbies Posts: 3 Member No.: 11337 Joined: February 14, 2016	Hi Everyone, Nice Site! My first post here: Went out with an operator out of Beaverton today with my dad. The operator hauled us out in a covered sled/snowmobile to our rental hut, the ride was about 20 minutes. The driver was a great guy and he took his time to gave us some heads up. The perch start hitting soon as we got there...then this fish came along... This 30 inch Laker got me by surprise, it spooled half my 4# floro...and it's my personal best. Another pic... Other then that we kept about 15 perch this size for supper, and we let go many small ones and couple of fat jumbo fish... We were on the fish all day except from about 1 to 2:30, we caught fish with small rapala, small lipless crank, one on a small spoon, but majority of them were on the small minnows that our hut operator suggested.
