Sail has half decent sail brand cleats for about$15. The actual metal cleats are good. The design has a couple of minors flaws I think. They wont be good enough to go up Billy Goat hill whenn it ices up but work great when the ice on the lake is like a skating ring.

If you go to Amazon.ca, search CRAMPONS and you will see what I use on the ice. They are amazing and work much better than ice cleats which I have also used in the past. Prices vary but if you search through the site, you can pick them up for as low as $20.00 If you can find them around town, they sell for $60.00 to $80.00 Good luck with your search!

Oh yes those up above posted by aidemsined will get you on Billy goat no problem but I find the spikes are too long for distant walks. I got those in Adventure guide Kitchener for about $45

You get what you pay for. And I've learned that the hard way. Xtr. They are awesome but costly
Very true where may I ask did u get those
Those came from sale. They were about 60. They are fine for walking on straights will do OK on a parking lot and are just perfect pulling a pop-up up bp hill. Crampons have much longer spikes and are only good for ice climbing. Not comfortable walking on flats and cost typically over 100. There were other kinds at sail but the sales person said they had a large amount of returns due to rubber piece breaking.
I should also add those are first cleat o love and don't wish I haven't bought. They stay on and work

I have the Baffin Titans as well. And I use the Yak Trax XTR cleats that aidemsined has pictured. You won't be sorry if you get them. I've had them for two seasons. Great cleats. Cheers!

I have a pair of Sorels that I have studded for days that there is no water on top of the ice, but when there is water on the ice, (Like last week) I use my Titans with the HT strap cleats from CT.
I just can't bring myself to put holes into my Titans or I would stud them too.

I have been pleased with ICERS which Lee Valley sells. Canada Post has used these exclusively for several years as well as some of the EMR and fire crews. Studs are easily replaceable although I've never had to do this.
