buy the schnozzle cheap to fill, easy to use, fills bottles full everytime, just make sure you buy the actual "schnozzle" not the cheap Chinese ones.

I bought the 5 lb hose and a filter. $80 for all I've bought 14 lbs of propane for $14. $94 total. If I bought 14 lb at $7 a piece that's $98 + tax. So the tank and accessories are paid for and the season is not done, and now I save $6 every lb. you could buy the adaptor to fill your own but if something happened.......was why I didn't.

Dave.

Got my own at CT, had to call around. the Barrie stores never seems to have any in the winter, ended up picking one up in Newmarket on the way home from work. Did cost me around 60$ if I remember outrageous considering the low cost of the popular 20lber, but the savings is stupid compared to buying the green guys, I tossed the idea of refilling them around but that still meant juggling them so I decided against it, now I just use my fish scale to weigh my tank to determine how much gas is left. Also I used my 5lber in the summer for my little portable bbq and was blown away at how little gas it consumed compared to my portable buddy heater. Must have cooked near 25 times and still wasn't empty.

Princess auto sells the hose and filter.

$13 at costco. For me that alone makes the membership worth it.
