The ice is breaking up over deep water. Open water anywhere by the main body. Ice cakes being held together by thin ice and will break apart.

No fish is worth it. Be safe

Nice reminder my last deep water outing was Tuesday that just passed.

Im sure there will be lots of ice piled up some where monday morning.
40 plus gusting to 70km 5am Monday with the rain tomorrow night most of the main lake will probably be open.

Its just a big ice burg floating around.

Right x 2
Yesterday (Saturday) when I was at BP, I was in the middle of the bay over approx 120 fow, during the high wind I was hearing ice cracking everywhere all the times but some times around none or pass noon, I heard a Big Bang and then ice under my feet was moving just like the earth movement during a very strong earth quake.
I heard other fishermen around were calling each other and talking loud about it. ... Stay safe

I was at VB on Saturday and saw 3 people go thru the pressure crack by shore. Luckily it was only 3 FOW and they were on their way in.

Be safe
