Sitting in my one man pop up today when a gust of wind moved me about 1 foot sideways. Wasn't anchored so it could have been much worse. Hopefully the current storm they are calling for doesn't keep us off the lake tomorrow/rest of the week.

I was trying to get off ice in PB just as that wind storm was rolling in , man it scared the living crap out of me.I did,t think I was making it back to shore there for a minute.Last time I leave home without the Garmin.

GPS is great but I would never leave shore without a good old fashioned compass. No batteries to die from the cold.
