Headed out yesterday from mp. If you own a snowmobile to tow your sled with gears then you are good to go. If you are walking out there then good luck, the snow was up to my knee lol. Couldn't make it to the deep end, ended up fishing around 40 FOW. The spot where I was had a good 9-11 inches ice. Seen a lot of snowmobilers on the lake so I think it is safe but be very cautious.

I ventured out a bit further than everyone else. Regretted it on the walk back.

Was a long slow day marking very few fish and catching none. I had at least 10" under me.
