Pressure drop better fishing?, Gotta check it out.

So I have read that a storm and pressure drop can make the fish more aggressive. I have just let the wife know that in the name of science I need to go out to my hut and try to prove or disprove this theory. But if the dinks get any more aggressive they will be jumping out of the water. Hope they p### off some jumbos that I see swim by and the Jumbos try to compete!

Hey ya you missed it. A area near you slaughtered the jumbos from 7till 9 they shut off and was done just after 10.

Funny, cause im going out tommorow and expect the worst, pressure drops have never been good to me, good luck, whatever it takes to convince the wife!

@ Fishfood, glad someone is hitting the Jumbo's my hut need to be moved I'm to shallow but keeps the grandkids happy. With the warm weather we had I wasn't sure to move it or remove it.

@ Lanterman Now that's a feat I have not done yet, I had 3-4 double headers in my short trip.

So to report. 2 hours ago I drove out started to fish, I would estimate 60 min of fishing.
4" perch just wouldn't stop hitting. Seen a few larger fish that showed moderate interest only got 1 8", would estimate 25-35 dinks in this time a handful or 5-6". Did grab a new jig head when I bought my minnows . I put it on my table and realized when you put a minnow on it while you are busy and return it to the water, you should first check that you have started to use it and tied it to the line. It worked well a fish took it before it hit the bottom.
Wind was up so made it a quick trip
Conclusion: I must fish more to collect more data😀 Will return in the am to continue my study.

Didn't work for 3 of us today! I was using a under water camera and saw several but they were just not aggressive.

One nice whitie brought in and throw back of a herring - boy did it get cold and the really wind by 11 and on. One buddy couldn't even get a live minnow quick enough onto his hook without it dying and frozen - that's cold so if you are going out be prepared.

It's so true. When the storm is approaching you have great catching opportunities. Just don't be late cause they do shutdown in a flash.

We had a great morning in 30 ft of water. Left with 20 (3 over 10" and the rest 8" at least) but we were busy from 7:30 until about 11 when they seemed to shut down. The storm was kicking it up a notch so I was keen to avoid the crappy drive home anyway.
