Good day......I was just driving around the west side of Simcoe and wanted to let you know that most of the access points I looked at had quite a bit of slush before you got to the accumulation of snow.
In a few spots snowmobiles had accessed the lake, but broke through at the shore before getting out to the snow. I saw guys zipping back and forth on sleds and a few guys struggling to get there ATV's out to their destination. Also the ice has opened up in a few spots not too far out from the shore letting more water saturate into the snow/slush.

I drove IBP to 4th line. The hut operators at 4th have pretty good trails set out to their huts. Besides the actual lines 5th, 6th and 7th there are some other access points between lines that looked sketchy also.
Good pair of hip waders and a positive attitude and you might be okay....hahaha!

Safe travels!
Agree with this, I just plowed some of the drifts by one of the accesses for the 5th CB when I looked back there was water in one of my tire tracks. After the cold one would expect it to refreeze that person would get wet feet. The snow is covering the same pressure cracks that were not good to cross before this snow. Be safe if you are headed out.
