Out from Keswick, man was the snow deep...it averages 1ft with spots as deep as 2ft...luckily I brought my snow shoes, let me tell y'all they really make a huge difference.
Run & gun with my flip over and punched 30 holes today, mostly small perch that can't take my lure, I only caught 10 fish, 9 of them were 12"+, one little guy was foul hooked...
Not bad for 3 hours of fishing IMO
Have been heavily focused on crappie fishing this season and caught probably 500-600 of them already(average 50 fish/trip). Finally got out for some yellow and man they are tasty, nothing beats perch when fried, not even walleye fingers
