Was out there on Thursday. Lots of good ice over a foot. Hut opps are running bombers. Lots of snow can be slippery when hitting ice under it. No problem with sled. Pressure crack just off shore was tight and solid. Follow trails for safer crossing.

Hey welcome to the forum Habsfan , I'm relatively new here myself as well. I went out a few weeks ago with Casey's. Wish I could get up there this weekend for another go it was great getting out. Too far to travel from Niagara Falls and limited funds are stopping me.

Welcome to the board. We were out with Stewart's huts on Thursday. 10 -12" of good ice in our location at 33 fow. Hot bite from 2:30 - 4:30. My buddy landed a 14.5"!! Lottsa snow but you should be OK with your side by side. Just follow the operators trails cuz there's many snow drifts that may hang you up. Be a gentleman & don't crowd the operators as they have done lottsa work to make the trails. If you're not catching in 30 minutes at a particular spot, keep moving till you find them. I heard of good catches in 32 - 37 fow.
