Nice catch, curios to depth as well, had the family out grandson and friend caught a dozen each . I didn't fair as well but I was just glad they were having a great time. Kept about 8 with all of us fishing only one decent one.

we found this spot on the charts that looked good, once we got there we didnt move all day. 20ft of water with like 10" of ice

Awesome job fishguy. Looks like you are the reason others are getting skunked (sarcasm)

What happens to all the fish you keep? Surely it's not just one meal. Do you just clean and freeze them?

LOL thanks! It's my first season ice fishing so usually I'm the one getting skunked

All the fish were cleaned last night, had a great dinner and plenty leftover for lunch today. I gave a few to my neighbour and I froze a bunch for my grandparents and my parents too, got a big family and they all love fish so they were pretty happy

Nice haul on the perch.

Managed to get out this morning for some perching in cooks bay (Innisfil area)
Got a few good ones and kept some smaller ones for a perch fry.
