Guys, I'm hearing lots of things (and mostly not good!) about the ice. I'm not hearing anything much about PB, it would be awesome if someone could provide an update.

Thanks.

Dutch

We left from there Thursday after a few days. Fished all over PB area on ATV's. 10 to 12 inches everywhere we fished. Lots of snow on the ice after Tuesday night but still got around OK on Wed. The pressure crack at Duclos Point was not good! I wouldn't try to get from PB to VB going around the Point.
We didn't try out away from the point, but out to a hundred yards or so was bad.
Good luck!

Sorry for the late reply, but fishing was slower than we've normally had out there. Fished mostly 30 to 34ft.,moved around quite a bit,but generally a slow bite. Marked fish in and out constantly, but at times even had to really coax the little guys into biting. We did manage a fair haul between 4 of us, but just not as good as past trips to the same area.

Good luck!

We had to do some sorting, and kept about 2 dozen jumbos. Largest was 14", a new PB for my buddy. The bite was slow and steady all afternoon in 28' of water.

A great way to close out the season.
