I've heard perch are more active Late afternoon so I'm trying to find a decent spot by then. Thinking of moving to lefroy for the shallower waters.

Was in 15' was very slow this morning, in for lunch then back out hope it picks up this afternoon. IMO been slow in the bay since the snow, have noticed very murky water can't even see bottom this morning. Gotta be quick when they come thru. What depth ya fishing?

Started at 35 but could see because of the murky waters, moved to 15 and nothing. Just got to Killarney fishing in 10-15 feet, nothing yet.

It's about the same and there's lots of parking on the road.

Went today just north of Bell Ewart. Fished from 7am-12:30PM in 17-18ft. I caught a dozen perch but only two keepers. I also got three small herring when a large school came in, all returned. There was some activity on the screen today but nothing wanted to commit. Used jiggin raps, buckshot jig, multiple colours, tipped and not tipped, but nothing changed the slow fishing.

The three guys I went with caught even fewer and much smaller fish. This was the only highlight of the trip today. A win is a win!
