Hi Everyone,
First off it was great to meet everyone today and finally put faces to the names. I tried to come around and talk to everyone, if I missed you, sorry, I'm sure we will cross paths again soon. I am still amazed at the turnout, thanks again Bob and Sudsmaster for organizing this event, which I guess is now our first official Meet & Greet and 1st year anniversary for this forum. Where to start... First off, fishing was pretty good as everyone I spoke to had landed at least 1 trout, some iced a few nice ones!

Most lakers where in the 1 pound range, with a few 2-3 lb fish here and there. I did witness a 13.7 lb laker pulled out but they weren't from our group. I will add some pictures I took from this day.. But I see many members have already posted their pics.

If everyone is ok with it, I will be taking select pictures from all these posts and creating a photo gallery for our first M&G (Thanks mydogbites for the suggestion). I will also create a mash-up video of some select pictures (thanks avengere1 for the idea). I should have this done sometime next week when time allows..

Thank-you everyone for bringing the food and desserts, It really shows what a great group of guys/gals we have here, and i'm honoured to have you as members.

Some of you expressed interest in more Meet & Greets, hopefully on Lake Simcoe next time, perch fishing in Couchiching/Beaverton/Port Bolster or if the main lake ever freezes, on the whitie and laker grounds. We will get together again, for sure..

Cheers & Happy Fishing,
Jerry

Now the pics..
