Another " Start the car" ..CT has the 20 v 1/2 drill kit on sale for a week at 129.99, this comes with carry case, two batteries and charger..

Bought same unit last year @ 149.95., Very pleased , added the adaptor for my 6-8" auger bits and good bye power auger.. found with the 6' bit I could cut from 8-15 holes depending on ice and thickness..

An ideal rig for the perch guy who likes to move around, As said I'm pleased with it and the price is definitely a bargain...

I see it listed @ $150 still. Want to get into this system but my milwakee 14.4v still works great for regular drilling work, cant justify buying a drill just for an auger.

http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/maximum-...9p.0541349.html

Not the same package ..One at $129.95 is the Dewalt 20 ,in this weeks flyer, good for one week I believe..

Cool thanks i see it now. Are you using it with the clam plate or just with an adapter? (like this one: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00LDYGNYY)

Here's the link for the drill:

I found that using it with a regular adapter, with the drill in 1 hand, posed a real hazard to twisting and straining my wrist(and maybe other upper body parts). As I see it the advantage of the Clam is that you grip with both hands.

Ok checking ice deals past 2 days. Walmart midland, Rapala 43 cc black ice auger 325. Canadian tire south Barrie. Lots of augers and hubs on sale. Lots of gear out. Float suits 1/2 price here as well. Swedish pimples and some buckshot uv for 33% off. Cabelas has gear out as well. Bargain cave had a huge cabelas brand shanty Reg 699 on for 549 plus another 15% off. Those shanty are on the floor Reg 699 on for 499. Rod bags for 29. Some ice lines on sale. And princess auto has 7000 btu heater for 59 Reg 89. I also got a few ruger pistol cases for $5. Thought they would make good jig cases. Hope this helps.

Dave.
