That's a good point. This was an excellent tip and I'm sure Walmart was amazed at how fast this stuff sold!!lol For those that missed out they might still get a small deal on kijiji from those who purchased multiple reels!

Just picked up some 823 from a Walmart down in Scarborough. The clearance price wasn't even marked on the rack. Still the original $19 so there were plenty of stock. The $10 price only showed up when it was scanned.

BTW.......Walmart OOS now on Sedona, Solstice, Okuma 302, and both Southbend telescoping rods. --- Avocet reel still available. It's made by Pure Fishing for Mitchell.

Not to be a killjoy here, but be careful with Walmart on-line purchases. I purchased some calendars for Christmas and received a notice that their site had been compromised. We made the changes necessary with new cards. Hopefully it's corrected/secured for all purchasing on-line.
