Hey boys n girls! Just got back yesterday from our annual trip (feb2-5), and it was our best yet!! Day 1 Started off slow, we were brought to the huts it the bombardier's and only managed a few keeper perch around 9 or 10". Was a fun day but wasn't because of fishing. lol Day 2 We got out to the huts at first light and there was not much going on. So, since we had Quads and snowmobiles we took off in search of fish. With the help of the Navionics app on my phone we found a great spot. it was non stop all day long!! perch were 11 to 13" and lots of smaller walleye mixed in. Got a bucket full! That night we talked the opperator into moving a hut there for our whole fishing party. Days 3 Right from the get go it was crazy! I tried to use two rods but couldn't keep up to the fish, had to use just the one! We caught lots of perch, walleye, cisco, and even a couple ling. we put back way more than we caught!
Ice was around 18" thick, weather was great! Good times had by all!!
