Hey guys n gals. Heading to the Waltonian on Super Bowl weekend (feb 2-5). Just wondering if anyone has been, or any reports on how the fishing has been.

Can't help yoou there...No idea on how they are doing......but all other rports so far have been pretty good, so I would expect they are on fish as well.

i go there every year for 2 days. its an amazing place great accomadtions and fishing. i just got back 2 days ago. we were supposed to stay for 2 days but we packed it up after the first because of how slow the fishing was. we managed 1 tiny perch the whole day. we usualy do alot better and have in the past but this year has been slow

Oh that's not what I wanted to hear. We go every year, on Super Bowl weekend. Hope it turns around. Sorry to hear you didn't do well Peter. What shelf did they have you on #1 or #2?

Fshn Frk - How was the fishing at Waltonian? A group of guys are heading up there during the Family Day weekend. Never fished there before. Was hoping you could let me know if you caught anything. Walleye,Pike, Perch?
What do you mean by shelf?
Do you think it's a good idea to bring my snowmobile to scout out the lake?

Hey Otter.
The trip was amazing. Check out my post "trip to Nip 2012".
Great place and people. But my advice to you is , if it's nice get away from the huts and explore. That's what we did and it payed off big time! Huge perch and under the slot walleye.
Even a couple hundred yards away from the huts was better. There huts are in about 32 FOW, we caught good fish in deeper water.
