Is that a smelt? Is there a fish that doesn't live in Lake Nipissing.
Very diverse fishery.

Yes had to include it in the pictures. Buddie 2 weeks before us gets a 56" sturgeon and we get a 9" Smelt. Yes they have it all for sure. 1st smelt ever for us there for sure. Haven't caught one on Simcoe in 20 years ether.

he he I caught a 4 inch smelt last spring on Simcoe. Jerry and I were just "goofin off" fishing. We laughed our heads off when I caught it. That could well be my best fishing memmory.

The smelt was released

Yes that is Ice Bungalows super or executive bungalows. Have been going with denis for 7 years now. And the last 4 we have caught walleye's. Usually go the 2nd week Jan this year with the ice we waited untill the 1st wek feb.

Ice bungalows supplies 1 doz per guy with rental and have more for sale. We stopped in huntsville and picked up 5 doz 3" shinners and 5 doz 2" pin heads so we where covered for the weekend.
