Was wondering if anybody out here uses a tiller xtension. Had one for years find it handy going up real shallow back waters and swamps, standing up in the Zodiac and lookin for dead heads and rocks so as not to bust a hole in my red rubber duck or lower end even after I lift it up.

As stated a must for shallow water fishing to look out for prop killers and good to reduce weight at the back of the boat while in motion.

Cheapest and easiest tiller extension. Cut the end off an old aluminum baseball bat to the taper, then jam on tiller. Switch from outboard to electric in seconds. Been using it for decades.
