Hahaha I knew people were waiting impatiently. Sorry guys was chatting and an still cleaning the boat up. I will post pics real soon. Here's one to hold over.
We had 17 boats show up and in the end it was team "kawarthas own" that took the win. And team roche took second with a very solid bag. So congradulations to those teams.
Will post results a little later. As I still have a big drive ahead of me

You wouldn't be lucky enough to to have CAA plus would you... If so they will tow it for free. Otherwise no clue, had similar problem last weekend, ignition coil went while in wasaga and had to get a row to Guelph thank god for CAA

you're not allowed to text and drive but "luckily" enough for me u can text in the passenger seat of a tow truck while pulling your money pit on a 2 hour drive.
Which leaves me just the right amount of time to report the awesome day today on the water. It really was an awesome time on the water and I won't let my continued run of bad luck ruin that.
First off got to the park yesterday to camp out. Had a beer or 2 or 20 beers with some fellow members and that in it self was a great time. Then after a little mix up with there being 2 launches we got everything sorted out and off to a start... a late start. The decision was made to blast off in intervals to keep it safe going through the bridge, how ever it was hard for everyone to hear their turn come up and so that was a little bit messy. BUT after all that things smoothed out. The weather was amazing in the morning. Perfectly calm, bit of overcast and the bite was on. This was a huge bonus considering all of the talk of thunder storms and rain for today. How ever. The night before forecast which is the only one that I follow called for rain and winds from between 11-12 and sure enough on my watch at 11:36 it got turned on like a switch, me being an avid wind hater decided it was time to spend the rest of the day tucked into the river. At this point we had our 5 fish but no big ones to be had or even lost at that point. Got to the first sheltered bay I saw and noticed a 7 ft drop off, decided give it a try. I casted a spinnerbait out and third cast my rod goes WHAM right away I said "muskie" My drag started peeling, I mean absolutely peeling line. It was peeling out like a marlin pulling line on a fishing show. And every time I got it closish to the boat it dove down again. I know already that it's the biggest muskie I've ever had on. After a few minutes of fighting it which felt like a life time the line comes screaming up smallie style and I know what's coming; a jump, and man what a jump it was. Straight out in the air 3-4 feet in the air, right at the back of the boat. me and my brother were both like WHOAAAA!!! But when it landed the hook popped out of its mouth and that was the end of that tale\. By far the biggest muskie I've ever had on. I'm saying it was 44" but my brother swears it was 4 feet long. Either way it was huge and it was a fatty. The girth alone was crazy and worst of all I had my go pro turned off and missed rhe whole thing. Oh well today is supposed to be a bass day. Got back at it we went. Started catching a few more and then realized when we tried to weigh our fish that water got into our scale and it wasn't working now we had to eyeball all of our upgrades. That sucked but even worse the wind was picking up And we couldn't get away from it. We tried until about half an hour before weigh in but decided we would just go back to a spot close to the launch that we lost one in earlier and see wat happens. I catch a 2 pounder right off the bat which is an upgrade to our small bag.then i Right away I get a solid bite but she's hung up on a lillie pad. We try to zoom over just close enough to see her big mouth come out and then. .. gone. Also lost 2 more in there before I decide that since we seem be be letting them go any ways its time to get the weigh station set up. Unfortunately for you guys though that story comes in tomorrow with the pictures. That's enough writing for this guy on this very long day. Thanks again for everyone who showed up and helped make this event possible. And also thanks to those that donated prizes for the tourney, it was a great little extra bit of fun that gave everyone a chance to win something even if they had a tough day.
