Hello everyone i will be coming up to lake nipissing for 10 days this week and was wondering what is some good lures and tricks for walleye and whitefish up there? any help would be great!

Hey Allaround.
I was up ther Super Bowl weekend and I found minnow with a split shot, and a jig n rap with a minnow hooked through the back worked best.
Also move around. If your not getting fish.....move.

We found over the years that the small williams tipped with a minnow caught just about everything that swims in Nippissing, jig from 1-5' off bottom .vary jigging patterns until you find one they like....for what it's worth....bent rods

Last weekends best catch hut produced most of there walleyes on a minnow, hook and splitshot. When they detected a bite they would open the spool and let the line run free. There next best tactic was jigging with a silver williams spoon with a minnow head attached. 2 guys, 2 days, 18 walleye.
