With there being a lot of posts about smallies here lately thought I would add another lol went out this morning in my tinner and nailed a decent smallie on a spinner bait, jumped twice and gave a great fight!

Nice smallie!
When I used to fish tournaments in the Kawarthas, about 15 years ago or so, in almost every tournament the top five or so teams always weighed in smallmouth. As good as the largemouth fishing was, if you could find the right ones, there were always huge smallies caught. Didn't matter what lake either. Not sure what the ratio is like these days, haven't fished there in over a decade. Glad to see a few bruisers out there yet.
