Seeing some monster fish coming in as of late. And next year for bragging rights only I want to start a season long 5 fish tourney governed 100 % on the honour system and pictures of course. But before that gets started just wondering how everyone fairing this season.
I record all of my bass over 4 so its easy for me to calculate, I haven't been out nearly as much as I'd like to have this year but still have caught some pretty nice fish. Mind you 3 of them were on the same day in a tourney earlier this year and tge other 2 were on a pre fish for another and I'm feeling the need to catch some more monsters.
My 5 fish are LM 5.84 LBS SM 4.85 LBS SM 4.69 LBS LM 4.53 LBS LM 4.18 LBS My best 5 total weight is 24.09 LBS

I don't keep records but if I had to safely guess, my 5 best fish this year would be around 22 lbs to date.
This has been my best year quality wise, however I have fished less this year than any other year. This year I have only fished twice a month on average and not always for bass. Only fished for bass 5 times this year.

Ya that's what's crazy, don't know how they do it constantly. They must spend lots of time on the water. Either way it's impressive, and gives us weekend guys something to strive for and become better anglers.

So far I've not had any over 5lbs this year, but lots in the 4-5 range. Last weekend at my parents in Elliot Lake I had one day where my best five were around 22 lbs, all right around 4-1/2 each. I wish I had time to get back up there when the water cools some more and they're schooling, then I'm sure you could get close to 30lbs in a day!

I'll say I'm at a conservative 20lbs as I don't have a scale to weigh my catches.
I'm pretty sure my big fish on the year came from Silver Lake during my stay there and weighed close to 5lbs. I caught several 4lbs class fish throughout the season, both largies and smallies.
Have a scale on the list of things to get for next year.

I guess with my newest catch I'm up to 25.11lbs.
I must say I never realized how much I like reading everyone's reports and fishing trips. I'm now digging up old ones like this because noone has been adding anything new as of late. It's going to be a LOOOONG winter lol.
