I went out on the water with my buddy yesterday and we got soaked, luckily we didn't get the thunderstorms they were calling for. I have fished in really light rain before and had success but I've only attempted fishing in the pouring rain once in the past and I got skunked. I ended up getting 4 largies, the biggest I caught was 3lbs 3oz. Good day on the water despite the rain. I wish my buddy would have got something but I guess that's how it goes sometimes. I use to not like fishing in the wind and rain because it's a pain in the a$$ and it seemed like bass only wanted to bite under calm sunny conditions. However I have had the best luck under cloudy windy conditions these past 3 years. I will post pics after I upload them.
