Has anyone tried the rosedale canal joining balsam and cameron? Just seeing if the walleye move through there this time of year and if so any particulars about the area?

Regards,
Mark

I'm sure there are walleye around at night, I use to fish right in Fenelon Falls at night in the late fall and would do well some nights. In the fast sections I would use a jig and large minnow.....below in the slower sections countdown Rapalas Black & gold were the ticket. There were a few holes I found in the fast area I would use jigs.

I have seen as much as 5 boats jigging rosedale out towards balsam in between the buoys . We've got bass and pike in there but no luck in that stretch for walters

Spent another night fishing for Walters, rock bass were hitting the cranks but no Walleye for us. Sat another guy down there who said his group caught 3 eaters, only lights we seen were right next to the dam so im gonna guess they were not following the rules.

Weather is looking good. I'm going to try fishing within the solunar table and see what happens.
