Tough this fall but we managed 6 all in the slot and 1 smallmouth today on Rice lake.Took 5 hours and some hard work rip jigging but better than a day at the office.Regards Alan

Very nice! I went out a few times this year, but my fall pattern just wasn't producing and I no longer have the back strength to support techniques like rip jigging. Glad you were able to get on them, hope you had yourself a nice meal from them.

Elrick try a life vest and tighten the lower strap until it is very snug to your back.It will act as support and you can fish all day.I also get lower back problems but this has helped alot.Regards alan

Nice job on the fishing.. Wife and I just spent a couple days on rice and did pretty good with each of us getting an eye over the slot and about a dozen others along with some bass and one little muskie... All fish caught on minnows and jigs... Cheers and good luck..

We put in a lot of time but it did pay off.. Was going to go tomorrow/Monday but my neighbor had to cancel . Probably have had my last day of fishing in zone 17 till next year..
