I searched the web and found this on kijiji
http://www.kijiji.ca/v-other-services/miss...gationFlag=true

Give him a call and see if it is worth it. Maybe trade him a couple of fishing trips.

Matt, will your phone even work after all of this? Wont the memory card and phone be destroyed at this point? - Is it even worth it?

Yes the memory card would've fine given the s5 is waterproof of sorts but unfortunately that won't matter at this point as I was not successful. I do feel much much better having known that I tried but it still stings. The weeds were much deeper and thicker than they looked and so the depth was also deeper than marking on finder. When I'd dive in there were weeds blocking my view mean while I was still out of range to touch bottom and then I'd go deeper and bury my self in the weeds I couldn't see anything as it was to dark.

Will have to see what f4d's Kijiji guy can do as a metal detector is my only option of any at this point.

It didn't cost much to try I ended up renting a wet suit with boots and Flippers and the works for half of what I paid for mine so I can mine back now,

When I get a phone I will see if I got any footage on the go pro today.

Sorry if anyone was awaiting a good news miracle recovery post
