With the crazy winds last weekend I decided to head to the Otonabee River and see if I could connect with a few fall largemouth. I have a nice little spot that is protected from even the strongest winds (unless they are from the NE). When I arrived I realized that the winds had switched and was blowing right into my spot. This limited me to a very small area, so I decided that pick it apart with a jig. The weeds were still surprisingly green and I knew if I fished slow enough I would run into a fish or two. I had 6 hits all day and unfortunately only put 1 in the boat, thankfully it was a scrappy little musky.

This guy had an old beat up lip but it didn't slow him down.
I have had a great season and look forward to a small break before the lakes freeze over.
