Well its official, both the tinner and the bass boat got winterized today. But yesterday I got out one last time in search of muskie, it was a tough bite with the weeds dying off and the cold water but I hooked up with a nice little ski my last one of 2016. Then today being my last chance to target walleye before the season closes I headed down to shore fish with a slip bobber and minnow and sure enough as soon as the sun set my bobber dropped and I landed an 18 incher. My last open water walleye this year but hopefully not the last walleye of the year as I'm hoping to be ice fishing them up north late December if all goes well!! Overall I had a great open water season and these fish were a great way to end it off, bring on the ice!! Tight lines
