It's going to be 8 plus tonight. I don't think it's a good idea for anyone to go check today for you. I don't think anyone is going to be ice fishing before the new year.

Smolt Trout Group: Members Posts: 193 Member No.: 271 Joined: February 17, 2011	Took a walk out off gorskis this morning. 5" of good ice with 1 or 2" of frozen snow on top. Walked out to 10 fow and seemed consistant as far as I cared to walk. No one out fishing this side today. Not yet anyway.

I caught a ton of dink perch and one decent one. Was hoping for crappie but I did not do much searching. Only had a few hours out yesterday.
