Hey guys, one thing I like about this message board is the traffic it gets and I'm hoping this helps. A good friend of mine has gone missing in the last week and his family is now in a panick to find him. OPP are involved and there is a news report from Chex detailing the case. My friend Cory Lanteigne also just had a baby this year and has a step son and wife that very worried and want him home for Christmas, or at the least know he's safe with the coming cold.

He has had a past history of mental illness but poses no harm to anyone, he most likely was trying to hitchhike when last seen and has done so in the past. Below I'm going to attach a copied post from his dad, a link to the news report, and some of the missing person flyers. It would be appreciated if anyone could check there properties in the Lindsay, Little Britain, Valentia areas check there properties or waterways. Any info is appreciated and if anyone has info call sergeant Terry Cox of kawartha lakes police at (705) 324-6307 or his dad Rick Lanteigne at 416 817-9293. Thanks again LSO.

Rick Lanteigne's Facebook post:
PLEASE POST THIS PUBLIC
ALSO CONTINUE TO POST ORIGANAL WITH PICTURE
No good news yet, again i want to thank everyone for their posts, prayers and thoughts and continueing to POST PUBLIC.
The police have stopped searching in the last area he was seen but not giving up just taking a diferent aproach and resume search Tuesday if needed.
What I am asking is that anybody in the LITTLE BRITAIN / VALENTIA AND LINDSAY AREA near Elm Tree Rd (#18) and Ramsey Rd (#28) to contact me 416-817-9293 or the Police if they picked up or saw someone hitch hiking in that area Thursday Dec, 8th anytime from 4pm on as these are the only two ways in or out. And i am also asking that anyone living in those area's to please do a walk around of your property checking any possable spots he could have tried to get out of the cold as it has been very cold and he wasn't dressed for the weather. This is very important information in the safe return of my son and would really appreciate your help.

PLEASE POST THIS PUBLIC

Thank you goshawk, it's much appreciated. I will keep you informed for sure and will update this topic as soon as I know more. I posted this same topic on the lake simcoe board also to hopefully get some movement. Thanks again goshawk.

Absolute none to speak of for his whereabouts. I do know his family is exhausted from searching and networking all week and last, also opp and kawartha lake police have called off there searches and continuing with investigative work.

I would imagine by spring if no one has heard from him, area searches where he was last seen will continue then with or without police help. Can only hope his holed up at a friends at this point. Below I'll attach a picture of the area he was last known to be.

I can't thank everyone enough for the help in spreading the word. This why I'll continue to be on this board because a lot of members have kind and open hearts that would help anyone in distress.
