I find myself in the same scenario. My friends only like summer fishing. I am off of work for pat leave till end of January and would love a.fishing buddy during the week for as many days as possible. Weekends it's my turn to babysit lol. I'm from Bolton and currently not driving, if anybody drives by this area I would love to join
I have all my own gear.4 man popup Hut flasher sled heater. Split the cost of getting there and land some fish with some new friends!

I am an "avid fisherman" always looking to meet new people. I have a few fishing buddies that I alternate between but I am not oppose meeting someone new and possibly learning something in the process! I fish all year, from carp to trout to salmon to hard water and am based out of Mississauga. If you would like to plan a trip together, don't hesitate to message me!

Regards,

My problem with fishing buddies is that I'm finding it harder and harder to hide their bodies ,

In all seriousness it would be nice to get a nice group to go out. Safer and cheaper! Plus more people more chances for landed fish!
I am off every week till Feb send me a msg

I've never gone ice fishing (well okay, once as a little kid with Beavers to a fish farm and I caught a puney little rainbow trout) but I want to give it a shot and was wondering if anyone on here doesn't mind dragging a newbie along. I'm in Midland and during the summer I spend most weekends shore fishing the north end of Lake Simcoe, Georgian Bay, and Lake Couchaching. I'm not afraid to drive a bit, but I'd rather not be heading to Sudbury. I have one rod and other basic fishing gear (save for an auger). Work M-F but free weekends.

I'm looking for someone to go on the west side cooks bay Monday-Thursdays after 5 pm, as I am with the girlfriend in the Kawarthas on weekends.

I know she would feel better if I was never out on the ice alone

I have a large portable hut and a heater for it, the hut takes two to set up. Don't always have to use it.

I am 24 from the Alliston area, have all my own gear. I do not and will never take anything illegal or out of slot, so if you do that I would rather fish alone.

PM me if you want to go out, I have some minnows already, hoping to go out tomorrow

I live in St.Catharines and haven't done any ice fishing lately because no one wants to and I cant seem to go by self so if anybody is going out I am off most week days and free on weekends so if anybody needs company that would be great.

I'm from hamilton and go out most times by myself. have all my own gear and a truck if people want a ride or want some one to fish with. I'm happy to take people and split gas. Fish a lot of differant lakes and usually try and miss Toronto traffic. Have met people on the lake and sometimes hook up with them.

I find myself in the same situation as many of you. Don't have a lot of fishing buddies and to someone's point they are wimps and don't want to bear the cold. I have always used and outfitter when I go, but finally broke down and bought a pop up. It would just be nice to go out and enjoy a day of fishing with someone rather then sit there by myself. I am from the Orangeville area and free pretty much every weekend and if I feel like a sick (fish) day.

When the ice is finally safe in a couple of weeks, i am out regularly from 30th side road out by Big Bay point.

Always happy to walk out and give pointers to people looking to try for some Lakers.

I have all the gear and even some extras.

Like SDC i usually post when heading out.
SDC, we are gonna make it out together this season for sure. Anyone else joining us be prepared to walk.
