Can anyone suggest a good outfitter to use for Perch. This will be my first time to Simcoe. I'm looking for somewhere to take my 5 year old son to get him acquainted to ice fishing, and would like to see him catch some fish in the process. Thank you all in advance.

If you look at the top of the page there are tabs for links around the site. One being lake Simcoe ice hut rentals. It's in Navy blue bar

I don't know much of any of them as I have my own hut

I prefer Taj at caseys for Port boster.

Dave's for Virginia beach.

Steve's at Pefferlaw

Terry Goy for the east side of Cooks bay.

Mike at Snake island

These are all perch operations.

This will give you a start point GL

Terry Goy for the east side of Cooks bay? I actually prefer him (Terry) on the WEST side of Cook's Bay (in Gilford, Innisfil;-)

I have used Ice Fishing Outfitters at Virginia Beach with excellent service. Bev and Mike provide good info.

All of the outfitters mentioned above are very good at what they do.But the perch bite can change day to day on different parts of the lake depending on where the outfitter has his huts located.Give a few of them a call before you head up and ask how the fishing is.Most of them are pretty honest in telling you if the bite is on or off.First and last ice seam to be the best time to giver a go.
