my biggest problem with perch fishing is changing lures/jigs quickly with lighy line...although i have never seen really small clips,im sure they exist
do they make really small clips, even small enough for say a marmooska jig?maybe titanium or a strong metal?

I use a very small snap with out a swivel. I tie my line right to the snap and away I go. I just the same for almost all of fishing set ups. I haven't had a snap break off or lost any fish from the small snap breaking. Just go to any bait shop or big box store and there will be a ton of different ones there just choose the smallest you can get.

I also like using fast atch clips for treble hooks on lures you can take the hook off the lure and attach it using the fast Atch clip. Now when you're fishing you can take the hook off and put a minnow head on the trebble without using the actual hooks.

I always used snap swivels growing up and didn't have a problem catching fish. From watching all the shows over the past twenty years i stopped using them because according to my tv fishing heroes (or at least their sponsers)every fish in the lake has had Lasik and can see my sweat on the line. How many people use snaps swivels vs. flourocarbon and retying every lure

Well I'm with you. Ever since the invention of fluorocarbon, it must be a sin not to retie every lure. I float fish so I retie because of the use of ultra light line makes stealth a must...but I'm not changing up presentations like ice fishing! I'm all for lazy and easy so fastach clips... for sure!! Also, if you use fluoro leader, if you retie 10 or more times a day, you'll be retying a double uni leader material too! That's not fun with cold hands and thin diameter line! My conclusion...easy is the way to go! Fastach or snaps

Snaps are real good for perch ice fishing, and is the way to go, easier to change lures and hooks, specially when it's cold and your fishing lines tend to freeze up a little outdoors, and then trying to retie your knots for lures or baits.
