Hi Everyone, merry Christmas to one and all, and hoping to scratch the ice itch soon. I am debating on buying an otter XT cabin flip over for when I want to go fish different lakes, I do have a sled but wondering if anyone has or did have one, I have heard they got good reviews but wanted some personal experience from members, much appreciated and good luck on the hard water.

Other than being a little heavy and a bit pricier. Otter huts are the best made. MAterial and sled bases are what they are known for. After having several clams and a frabill can't say I,ll be replacing my pro xt anytime soon.

I've got an Eskimo Wide 1. I love it. The base spreads out when I flip it, giving me extra room inside. I'm also a fan of the bright red colour. I feel it makes me a bit more visible in snowy or foggy conditions...
