Only way to know is try it out, you might need two cutting blades to cut the ice as a regular auger?

I made an adapter before, but i just like the idea of using something i made, instead of buying stuff (plus i make the stuff at work, so i also have the pleasure of getting paid to make these, which is quite the bonus!) And also, i only made this for perch fishing when i dont bring my hut, sled, and all the heavy stuff, i only need this, my drill and my rod and im ready to go with not much weight to lug around, if its thicker i bring my clam nanook hut and put the gas auger an all the other crap in there.
And yes, i think if i make another blade and hole for the other side it will work a hell of alot better
Thanks
